COMMISSIONER'S CHALLENGE: 2014 Legends League Home Run Derby
ENTRY DEADLINE:Sunday, February 23rd 7pm ET
DETAILS: We're going back old school. Those of you who are original Legends League owners will probably remember the season-long Home Run Derby. It's back for the 2014 season!
Here are the rules:
Batters have been divided into four brackets A, B, C, D based on their 2013 HRs
A – Chris Davis, Miguel Cabrera, Edwin Encarnacion, Pedro Alvarez
B – Paul Goldschmidt, Alfonso Soriano, Adam Dunn, Mark Trumbo
C - Adam Jones, Evan Longoria, David Ortiz, Adrian Beltre, Brandon Moss, Jay Bruce, Raul Ibanez, Chris Carter
D – All other batters
1) Pick a team of eight batters:
- One (1) A player
- One (1) B player
- Two (2) C players
- Four (4) D players (any four batters not listed above)
*Here is a list of possible "D" players:
Giancarlo Stanton, Prince Fielder, Jose Bautista, Carlos Gonzalez, Troy Tulowitzki, Mark Teixeira, Andrew McCutchen, Ryan Braun, Brian McCann, Matt Adams, Mike Napoli, Bryce Harper, Albert Pujols, JJ Hardy, Ryan Zimmerman, Justin Upton (any batters not in A,B,C)
2) Your top seven hitters' HRs are counted toward your total. Your lowest HR hitter's total is dropped and will be used as a tiebreaker
3) This is a season-long event. The competitor with the most HRs at the end of the regular season wins the challenge and nets himself 100 Cup points.

1st = 100pts
2nd = 80pts
3rd = 60pts
4th = 60pts
5th = 40pts
6th = 40pts
7th = 20pts
8th = 20pts
9th = 10pts
10th = 10pts
11th = 10pts
12th = 10pts
13th = 5pts
